World Book Day 2023

Wow. Awesome. First-rate. Great. Marvellous. Sensational. Superb. Unreal. Amazing. Stunning. Incredible. Brilliant. I had to dust of the thesaurus just to try and find the words to describe the world book day costumes on display. The children loved their special day.  They took part in dedicated book day activities, decorated their wooden spoons, took a whole school photo with the juniors, spent some time with an author who read to them and answered all of their questions and took part in a whole school assembly in the morning. A very busy day full of fun and laughter. All children took home a book token that can be used towards purchasing a new book to enjoy at home.
