At Crawley Ridge Infant School, our vision is to foster the development of the whole child, ensuring their growth extends beyond academics to include personal and social development. We strive to cultivate independent learners who are curious, resilient, and confident, instilling a sense of self-belief that empowers them to take charge of their own learning journey. Our goal is to nurture conscientious citizens who are environmentally aware and responsible, instilling in them a sense of stewardship for the planet. Respect is a cornerstone of our community, and we emphasise the importance of respecting oneself, others, and the environment. Inclusivity is paramount, and we ensure every child feels valued and included. We aim to ignite a passion for learning and a love for reading that will stay with our children throughout their lives. Crawley Ridge Infant School is a place where children are actively engaged in hands-on learning experiences. Teachers have the autonomy to deliver the curriculum in creative and innovative ways, making learning exciting and meaningful. We prioritise the overall development and well-being of our children, incorporating outdoor learning, play, and dialogue into our approach. Our Forest School program enriches students' learning with outdoor experiences, fostering a connection with nature. We celebrate all forms of learning, recognising and appreciating the efforts and achievements of our children. Providing WOW experiences, such as visits from local police, firefighters, and healthcare professionals, inspires and educates our students, making learning memorable and impactful. Our school is well-resourced, ensuring that children have access to the necessary tools and materials to support their learning. We maintain a calm and happy atmosphere where children feel safe, respected, and ready to learn, creating an environment where every child can thrive.
