Book of the week
What you see when you look at a tree by Emma Carlisle has been a very popular choice in my house recently. It follows the life of trees through all seasons and can be used to generate meaningful discussions about the purpose of trees, which aren't just environmental! As always it is also beautifully illustrated as well. It is so easy as parents, especially at this time of year, to feel like you need to be everything to everyone and this can be draining. This article is a beautiful reminder of the importance of looking after ourselves as we journey through the highs and lows of parenthood. Enjoy with a cuppa!
